“naplesFriday is National Coffee Day, and there are a ton of places to fill up in the morning with that caffeinated wonder that so many can’t live without.

The Collier County Sheriff’s Office is hosting Coffee with a Cop at the Dunkin’ Donuts at 4835 Immokalee Road in Naples from 8-10 a.m. The event is designed to allow the community to meet and discuss issues with deputies in a relaxed setting.

Just here for the coffee? Dunkin’ Donuts is offering a free medium coffee with the purchase of a medium or larger hot coffee.

They’re not the only ones either.

Several chains are offering some kind of deal for National Coffee Day. But there’s one obvious exception: Starbucks. The mega-chain won’t be offering any deals Friday, instead using the day to promote what the company is called ethically sourced coffee and sustainability.
