The Lee County Sheriff’s Office has made a pair of arrests related to the burglary of the former home of Teresa and Mark Sievers, it announced Tuesday.
Deputies arrested Robert Salyers and Alexander Cesario, both 29, and were both charged with burglary and larceny of the Bonita Springs home on Jarvis Road.
According to deputies, the pair stole several electronic and personal items from the home sometime between July 6 and July 11. The burglary was discovered by a representative of the Faga Law Firm, who is representing Mark Sievers in the 2015 killing of his wife, Teresa.
Salyers was arrested Saturday after he was found to be in possession of some of the stolen items during a traffic stop, deputies said, and Cesario was arrested Monday.
The burglary was the second at the home in the last two months, where police say Jimmy Rogers and Curtis Wright were hired by Mark Sievers to kill his wife. Rogers and Sievers are currently facing trial in the killing. Wright is serving 25 years after pleading guilty to second degree murder.
