Police searching for convenience store robber in Bonita Springs

“naplesPolice are looking for a man who robbed a Bonita Springs convenience store Saturday.

According to the Lee County Sheriff’s Office, the man walked into the Speedway gas station at 27001 Old 41 Road, at the intersection with Terry Street, brandished a firearm and demanded all the cash in the till. The suspect made off with an undisclosed sum of money. The robbery happened at about 3:15 a.m. Saturday.

Surveillance footage shows a white male, described by deputies as approximately 5-foot-8, with a thin to average build. The man was wearing a black hoodie, sunglasses, and a skull mask.

Deputies are asking anyone with information related to the crime to contact Southwest Florida Crime Stoppers by calling 1-800-780-TIPS or through the P3Tips mobile app. Information which leads to an arrest could be eligible for a cash reward of up to $1,000.
