Another week has come and gone. With the weekend here once again, here’s a few things to look out for this weekend in Southwest Florida.

Steve Miller Band and Peter Frampton in Estero – Led by 2016 Rock and Roll Hall of Fame inductee Steve Miller, the Steve Miller Band’s 2017 Summer Tour with Peter Frampton will stop at Germain Arena in Estero on Saturday. Best known for their mid-1970s hits “Fly like an Eagle” and “Abracadabra”, the band rose to fame in 1973 following their first platinum single “The Joker”. Opening for the Steve Miller Band, Frampton is best known for his 1976 live release album Frampton Comes Alive! Tickets start at $39 and parking for the show is $15. The show will start at 7:30 pm

Yappy Hour in Fort Myers – Bell Tower Shops will be hosting Yappy Hour in Fort Myers on Friday.  While shoppers are welcomed to bring along man’s best friend, all in attendance can meet adoptable dogs, eat at one of eight pet-friendly restaurants, enjoy refreshments from the outdoor bar and listen to live music. Admission is free and the event will take place from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm.

Game of Thrones Viewing Party – Millennial Brewing Company will be hosting a viewing party for the season seven premiere of the hit HBO show “Game of Thrones” in downtown Fort Myers on Sunday. Screening the premiere on two projector-style screens and two 80-inch TVs, Millennial Brewing Company will feature a “Game of Thrones” inspired menu and beer on tap. Attendees are welcome to bring chairs and dress up as their favorite “Game of Thrones” characters. Admission is free and the event will begin at 8:00 pm.
