Pair of SWFL Shootings Make For Busy Weekend For LCSO, CCPD

“naplesAccording to the Lee County Sheriff’s Office, shots were fired outside of the Osaka Japanese Steakhouse located on San Carlos Boulevard in Fort Myers.

Little is known at this time, however, one person was struck outside of the restaurant and suffered “non-life-threatening injuries.”

The LCSO Major Crimes Unit was dispatched and is conducting the investigation.

The sheriff’s office believes this incident to be an isolated occurrence and does not believe that there are any concerns regarding further danger.


Cape police received a call for service at approximately 8:30 p.m. on Sunday.

Officers responded to the incident; a shooting that occurred on the 2200 block of NW Embers Terrace, a short distance east of El Dorado Boulevard North.

Little is known at this time, however, one individual is confirmed injured.

The suspect(s) fled in a blue Toyota. CCPD could not confirm whether the vehicle was a Camry or Corolla. The Toyota was occupied by two black males and one Hispanic male at the time of the shooting.
