Collier Child Care Resources (CCCR) announced this week that tickets are now available for their fifth annual “Big Impressions by Little Artists” event scheduled for Friday, May 5, which will be held from 11:00 a.m. – 1:30 p.m. at the Hilton Naples.
The showcase on display will present work inspired by the natural environment, following the Reggio Emilia educational philosophy, as well as a collection of pieces created by local artists.
“The community is invited to attend and share the joy and excitement of the art works created by our children and help raise funds for their tuition assistance,” said Niccole Howard, Executive Director of CCCR. “Many of the children come from working families who simply cannot afford the cost of a high quality education that is so important for their child’s early development for future success.”
In addition to the sale of artwork designed by artists Kerri Meehan, Amanda Jaron, Mona Lisa Johns, and Marcus Zotter – which will be featured in live and silent auctions at the event – “Big Impressions by Little Artists” will be a colorful festivity aiming to attract local supporters.
According to Howard, the event will be yet another worthwhile celebration for all.
“We have other items, too, from local artists and many silent auction items to bid on at different levels of value and interest. It is our fifth year and we hope for many to attend and help us celebrate the anniversary of our event.”
CCCR Business 100 will host this year’s event, a group of local businesses that supports the program’s mission and makes annual donations. The developmental program has two centers located in Naples and two more set up through Golden Gate and Immokalee High Schools.
Tickets for the event cost $75 each, and can be purchased by visiting www.collierchildcare.org or by calling 239-643-3908. For sponsorship opportunities, contact Tiffany Cawley at email@example.com.
