Danny Wermer Presents somehow managed to take this year’s Fort Rock Festival to ‘unimaginable’ status by orchestrating a lineup led by British super-rockers, Def Leppard, and featuring Soundgarden, The Offspring, A Perfect Circle and so many more.
Having sold well over 100 million records during their prominent career, the Sheffield, England-spawned Def Leppard has generated hits including “Love Bites,” “Rock of Ages,” “Pour Some Sugar on Me,” “Too Late for Love,” “Photograph,” “Bringin’ On the Heartbreak,” “Hysteria,” “Foolin,” “Armageddon It”…far too many to list. Winners of the American Music Awards “Favorite Heavy Metal/Hard Rock Artist” and “Favorite Heavy Metal/Hard Rock Album,” and nominated for a bevy of MTV Music Awards and AMA awards, Def Leppard have two Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA) “Diamond Certified” records on their résumé.
Joining the British rock-legends, Seattle-based Soundgarden will take the Fort Rock stage at JetBlue Park. Pumping out tunes such as “Black Hole Sun,” “Spoonman,” “Rusty Cage,” “Outshined,” “Fell on Black Days,” “Ultramega OK,” “Pretty Noose,” and “Superunknown,” the grunge band from the great Northwest found themselves parked as number 14 on the VH1 list of the “100 Greatest Artists of Hard Rock.”
