On Monday, Collier County Sheriff’s Office responded to a medical call of a female who was passed out in a parked car in a church parking lot.
EMS told the officer that the female was sitting in the driver’s seat of the car with the doors locked and huffing from a compressed air dusting can.
The officer approached the vehicle and saw the female inside holding the can to her nose and inhaling it.
The officer knocked on the window when the female inside, later identified as Jennifer Marie, looked at the officer, then looked away and continued to inhale from the can. Marie, 44, is a Naples resident.
The officer broke the window of the car and took the can from Marie. Marie then told the officer that she was at the church waiting for her Narcotics Anonymous meeting to begin.
Marie was then handcuffed and transported to the hospital for treatment.
