The Vanderbilt Presbyterian Church, founded almost 40 years ago, is a member of the Peace River Presbytery.
The church will break ground on the Deo Gloria Project Wednesday morning. The project entails renovation of the Chancel, Sanctuary, and Narthex with an addition planned at the main entrance.
The renovation will provide new energy-efficient mechanical, electrical, and audio/visual components, as well as accommodating the new multi-million dollar pipe organ being built specifically for the Church by Lively-Fulcher Pipe Organ Builders.
For a fresh look, all new floor to ceiling finishes will be added and acoustic treatments will enhance the overall environment and worship experience. Financing has been arranged through the Presbyterian Investment and Loan Program.
Architectural and design services are being provided by PK Studios. After completing two previous renovations for the church, GATES Construction has been selected as the Construction Manager for this project. The project is slated to be completed by spring 2017.
