Three Restaurants Serving Late Worth a Drive in Naples, Fort Myers

“naplesBlu Sushi is a restaurant in Fort Myers serving Asian food. Their original location has been open almost 15 years. They recently opened another in downtown Fort Myers that has some very interesting ambience.

They serve a full menu until 11 p.m. daily.

Seaweed salad, tuna sushi or a What Baby Roll with scallions, salmon, asparagus and cream cheese and finished with Eel Sauce are just a few of the late night dining options available.

Bar Tulia

Bar Tulia is a restaurant in Naples. Tulia is a Gastropub that sells high quality food and drink.

They serve a full Menu until midnight daily except Sundays. The proprietor and chef de cuisine, Vincenzo Betulia, has taken a tapas approach to the fare served here. It features regional Italian cuisine and a few variations on that basic theme.

Standouts include cauliflower salad with Currants, Marcona almonds, shallot/white balsamic vinaigrette and Pecorino.

The BT burger with a short rib/brisket/chuck blend burger, tomato, lettuce, Mozzarita Burrata, buttermilk battered onions and fries.

These are very hard to find, but Bar Tulia serves pig ears!

Bar Tulia’s Pig ears are braised in chicken broth and aromatic vegetables for a number of hours, then julienned, lightly fried and perfectly salted. Heaven!

Sometimes simple is best. The 18-month aged Prosciutto di Parma with cantaloupe and bread was very good.

Bar Tulia is an exceptional venue for dining, made even better by serving late.

7th Avenue Social

7th Avenue Social is a restaurant to “eat, gather and drink.” They have been open one year.

They have a very nice late night bar menu, and serve from 10-12 p.m.

Francisco Pomalaza has recently come on board as chef de cuisine and will be making some changes and transitions (e.g., sliders for sandwiches) to the menu.

Standouts include short rib tacos, in-house smoked wahoo dip and the 7th Avenue Hamburguesa. This can be ordered as a single, double or triple-decker.

The hamburguesa has a special burger blend, tomato, bacon, red onion and in house made pickle and vinegar slaw on a brioche bun with fries. Absolutely delicious.

7th Avenue Social is one of my “go to” favorites in Naples made even better by late night dining.
