While the Florida Everblades hockey team will only have a little over a month left in their season come March 2, the Naples-based Pickleball For All organization will conduct a promotional event when the Everblades host Toledo at Germain Arena.
The Everblades and Walleyes are currently in first place in the South and North Divisions, respectively.
Tickets for the 7:30 p.m. Everblades game will be $15 apiece, and must be purchased by Feb. 29. $5 from every sale will be donated to Pickleball For All, who will have a court set up in the Germain Arena lobby.
Pickleball For All is a booming local organization, headed by Ambassador Jim Ludwig, which helps promote and teach the skills of Pickleball to players ranging from children to seniors. Naples, itself, has been a breeding ground for the lesser-known sport, as it will be the host location for the inaugural US Open Pickleball Championships beginning April 26.
At the game, fans will be able to purchase food and drinks at a special rate. All draft beer, wine and stadium hot dogs will be sold for $2 apiece throughout the duration of the contest against the visiting Walleyes.
To order your tickets by Monday, February 29, please email Gail Scavongelli at firstname.lastname@example.org; however, payments must be made in the form of a check, made out to Pickleball For All. Please mail your payment to c/o 770 Reef Point Circle, Naples, FL 34108, and pick up your pre-paid tickets at Will Call at the game.
