CCSO: Attempted Robbery at Vanderbilt Rd CVS

“naplesThe Collier County sheriff’s office is looking into an attempted robbery that occurred Friday evening.

Deputies say the man walked into CVS, 2375 Vanderbilt Beach Road, shortly after 7 p.m. He went to the pharmacy and gave a CVS employee a note that demanded cash and drugs.

He implied he was armed but did not display a weapon, the report said. The employee began to call 911 and the man fled the store. Nobody was injured.

He is described as white or Hispanic, slender, about 5 feet 11 inches tall, possibly in his early 20s. He was wearing a motorcycle helmet that obscured his face. He was also wearing a black hoodie, jeans and tan gloves.
