Meet the family of Roald Dahl – the mind behind Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, Matilda, The Big Friendly Giant and many other beloved children’s classics – at this winter candyland. Enjoy a live DJ, cotton candy, hot cocoa, donuts, face painting, balloon artists and more. Photos with Santa are $5. Signed copies of Charlie and the Chocolate Factory will be available for purchase. GiGi’s Children’s Boutique will be hosting a diaper drive, and proceeds from photos with Santa and book purchases will benefit Baby Basics of Collier County.


Ritz-Carlton Naples – Teddy Bear Tea Plus Santa

Have tea with oversized, fluffy teddy bears at the Ritz-Carlton Naples’ beach resort Lobby Lounge. This annual event features traditional bites to enjoy, with the addition of hot chocolate, sweet treats and a storyteller for the children, just in time for the holiday season. There will be a special visit from Saint Nick, too. Cost is $59 per person and reservations are encouraged.


Naples Zoo – Winter Fest

The holiday goes to the animals at the Naples Zoo’s Winter Fest. Watch on as lions open their wrapped presents, and many other animals enjoy holiday-related delicacies. Santa will be at Canyons Edge from 11 a.m. to 12 p.m. to take pictures and meet zoo-goers, and again both 12:30 to 2 p.m. and 2:30 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. For those who want a more personal tropical winter experience, Breakfast with Tropical Santa will begin at 7:30 a.m. and end at 9 a.m. Cost is $65 per person, and participants get to enjoy a special morning that includes early enter to the zoo, breakfast, meet and greet with Santa and his friends, a holiday gift from Santa, holiday craft making opportunities, commemorative photo, private boat cruise and all day admission to the zoo.


Pure Florida – Candy Cane Kids Cruise

Pure Florida is welcoming all on their Candy Cane Kids Cruise, complete with the season’s favorite treat. Children will receive free admission with on paid adult ticket and a free candy cane. Guests can watch for dolphins, learn about local wildlife and have fun with the whole family.

This free, family-fun holiday event welcomes children of all ages to join artists from Painting With a twist to create ornaments and holiday masks. Meet Elsa and Anna from Disney’s Frozen, who will be entertaining children with singing, dancing and glitter tattoos. Jennifer “Golden Note” Gilmore will be performing various holiday songs and some favorite Disney tunes. Participants will receive goodies including coupons for a free kiddie scoop at Cold Stone Creamery, free dessert at Pincher’s Crab Shack, $1 off a scoop at Kilwin’s and more.
