Anyone looking to get fit after indulging in the holiday festivities would be well-served to check out Fit2Run Naples.
Fit2Run is a father and son, family-owned company that has been in the sporting goods business since the 1960’s.
Owners Bill and Parks Robinson opened the first Fit2Run store in 2006 and now have 10 locations throughout Florida, including their new store located at the Coastland Center Mall in Naples across from JC Penney.
The business specializes in providing the perfect fit for new and seasoned runners.
They are able to provide quality services by using a system called iStep that instantly identifies your foot type, pressure points and shoe size, and then recommends the ideal orthotics and footwear based on your feet.
Sharon Jacobson, marketing director of the company, told Naples Herald that she believes since Naples is known for its uniqueness and growth potential, Fit2Run is the “perfect fit” for the area.
“Our passion is to custom ‘fit’ our guests properly using state-of-the-art footwear technology,” Jacobson said. “And our goal is to empower our guests to run or walk pain-free while exercising their passion.”
At Fit2Run, their motto is ‘Get it First at Fit2Run.’
Jacobson explained the reasoning behind their motto is they are able to stay on top of the latest and greatest in running technology and innovation.
She said they carry name brands like Garmin, Asics, Brooks, Nike, and other new and exciting brands that you can’t get everywhere else like Hoka, Altra, and ON.
Jacobson believes this to be one of the many factors that set them apart from other competitors in their field of business.
A patron’s testimonial of the business stated that Fit2Run goes above and beyond to meet the needs of their customers. The employees are extremely friendly and really care about giving customers the best treatment possible.
“If you spend $300 on a heart rate monitor, you want someone there who can show you how to use it,” Jacobson said. “It is a lifestyle.”
Fit2Run offers a great team of employees that can help patrons with any of their running needs or concerns.
Jacobson encouraged readers to join them at their free weekly fun runs. She also said they have theme nights, product demos, fashion shows, and many more free events planned.
The stores hours are Monday through Saturday, 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. and Sunday, noon to 6 p.m.
