FHP looking for Drive in Hit and Run ATV accident in Naples

The Florida Highway Patrol is searching for an SUV with front damage that was involved in a hit and run involving with an ATV in Collier County this morning.

The incident took place around 9:40 am on Grand Lely Drive, in Naples.

According to FHP, the drive of the ATV, 28-year-old Rony Aguilar Pichilla, was stopped on the inside lane of Grand Lely Drive to place American flags in the grass median for the 4th of July.

The vehicle was traveling South bound on Grande Lely Drive when Pichilla was struck from behind which resulted in  Pichilla to be ejected from the ATV.

The driver of the vehicle stopped before they decided to leave the scene of the accident.

The vehicle suspected to be involved is described as a white Chevy or GMC SUV with front-end damage.

The driver of the SUV is female.

Picilla suffered minor injuries and was taken to Naples Community Hospital for treatment.
