Candlelight Vigil held for Christopher Corey While Police Remain Quiet

A candlelight vigil was held by friends of Christopher Corey one day after his murder in hopes of producing a lead to an arrest.

Corey was found dead early Monday morning.

The Collier County Sheriff’s Office received a call at around 3:30 a.m. at 5362 Holland Street in Naples Manor, where they found the body of a man and two dogs that had been shot.

Detectives have identified the victim as Christopher Corey, 25, who was pronounced dead at the scene.

There is an ongoing investigation underway and investigators are remaining quiet at this time.

Information will be released as it becomes available.
